Our Mission
The Outdoor Business Alliance of Pennsylvania (OBA PA) is dedicated to elevating the needs of PA’s outdoor recreation industry and supporting outdoor business development, innovation and growth. OBA PA is the outcome of a year-long public engagement process, known as Elevate Outdoors PA, which convened hundreds of outdoor businesses, technical assistance organizations, economic developers, funders, conservationists, local officials and other stakeholders across Pennsylvania.
Funding for OBA PA is provided by the Richard King Mellon Foundation and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Outdoor Recreation. Administrative support is provided by Firefly Outdoor + Economics and the BLOOM Business Empowerment Center.
