Drawing on 20 years of place-based economic development in the Pennsylvania Wilds, award-winning author Ta Enos offers a grounded, forward-looking vision for where the outdoor economy is headed — and where it needs to go for rural regions. She makes the case that the next decade requires building systems that keep data, governance, and economic value rooted in the communities where outdoor recreation happens. Ta will do a book signing for her best-selling memoir, Proudly Made: A Story of Reinvention in the Big Woods and Small Towns in the Pennsylvania Wilds, after the keynote.
